Zhumagali Raian is bronze medalist of Asian Schools Chess Championship - 2017!
The 13th Asian Schools Chess Championship took place in Panjin, China from 19th to 30th July 2017. Our student Zhumagali Raian played in the category "girls under 7 years".
In the tournament took participation more than 300 participants from 23 countries and regions in Asia. Raian scored 6.5 points out of 9, winning 3rd place of Championship. According to the regulations, Raian is awarded the titleWCM (woman candidate master). It is worth noting that Raian set a new record in Kazakhstan, receiving an international title at the age of only 5 years 10 months. Zhumagali Raian is a prize-winner of the World Schools Chess Championship - 2017 among girls under 7 years (4-6 place), 2-time champion of Almaty city among girls under 6 years (2016, 2017).
